Radio Design TR-431 diplexers, combiners and masthead amplifiers

Radio Design is a UK-registered RF and microwave specialist headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, with additional manufacturing and repair operations in India, serving mobile network operators, defence and aerospace customers, and OEMs. This is the RF/microwave hardware manufacturer, not to be confused with Radio Design Labs, an unrelated US audio-video equipment brand. How to read these part numbers

Radio Design's TR-431 series part codes are built from several segments read in sequence: the device type (DIP for diplexer, COM for combiner, MHA for masthead amplifier — functionally the same role as a tower mounted amplifier, boosting weak uplink signals close to the antenna), a port-count code (for example 4U2D means four uplink and two downlink ports), and a list of band numbers taken from the manufacturer's own coding (for example 20-8-18-21-26). The trailing reference (e.g. RD662-H4-01) is Radio Design's internal unit identifier and does not itself indicate band or port count. A small number of items in this range use plain-language coding instead — DDLNA (dual-band low-noise/masthead amplifier) and Twin MHA — and state the covered bands directly in MHz.

Give the exact TR-431 part code or Radio Design reference where you have it — diplexer, combiner and masthead amplifier variants in this range are not interchangeable even where they share a band list, because port count and internal topology differ. Confirm the AISG control protocol version in use at your site before ordering an MHA/masthead amplifier variant with remote monitoring. Condition is stated per quotation — these are refurbished or used units, and availability is confirmed on enquiry rather than held as fixed stock. Hardware only: any monitoring firmware or licensing remains between the buyer and the manufacturer. Radio Design remains an active, independent RF and microwave manufacturer, continuing to design, repair and manufacture RF conditioning hardware for mobile network, defence and OEM customers from its UK and India facilities. Equipment offered on this page is refurbished or used secondary-market TR-431 series stock, not new production.

New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's authorised channel or an authorised distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.
