The readable name follows a consistent pattern: `ZXSDR` is the platform, `R` denotes a remote radio unit and `B` a baseband unit, and the `S` suffix gives the frequency band in megahertz — so R8862A S1800 is an R8862A radio configured for 1800 MHz, and R8862 S9000 is the same family at 900 MHz. Where the listing shows explicit uplink and downlink ranges, use those rather than the S designation, because sub-band allocations vary by market.

Ordering notes

Quote the twelve-digit material code where you have it; without it, give the full readable string including the S-band designation and, if you know them, the uplink and downlink frequency ranges. ZTE ships the same radio family in market-specific sub-band variants, and a unit built for one operator's allocation will not pass another's. Confirm supply voltage and current draw as well — most of these units are −48 V DC, but the current rating varies with power class and your site power budget may be the constraint.

Lifecycle and availability

Most ZXSDR radio hardware is end-of-sale, and support outside China is limited. Everything here should be treated as new surplus or refurbished with CRS PLUS warranty rather than manufacturer warranty. As with Huawei, ZTE equipment containing US-origin technology may be subject to re-export control; we confirm per transaction.

Equipment condition

New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's authorised channel or an authorised distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.

New surplus — unused factory stock, original packaging where available, sourced from decommissioned projects or distributor inventory. Manufacturer warranty may have lapsed; CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Refurbished / tested — previously deployed equipment, cleaned, firmware-checked and functionally tested against the manufacturer's specification before shipment. CRS PLUS warranty applies.
